John helps shape our global equity strategy and performs analytical work on publicly traded securities identified by our Investment Committee. John also serves as the firm’s chief compliance officer (CCO). Before joining Obermeyer, John performed financial due diligence and valuation work as a senior associate with an Arizona-based private equity firm. He also worked in institutional cash management and accounting at Janus Capital. John earned his MBA in finance from Arizona State University and a BS, summa cum laude, in accounting from Metropolitan State College of Denver. In 2000, John received the Jack Furst Fellowship from Hicks Muse, a leading private equity firm. john@obermeyerasset.com
