Is the economy likely to experience a double-dip recession? Why or why not?

“We remain of the view that it will be difficult for the global economy (and especially the U.S.) to double-dip back into a major recession with interest rates at zero, with lower commodity prices and much improved corporate profitability. Moreover, the whole eurozone region has not been a source of significant economic growth over the past several years. So absent a full-blown debt crisis, subpar growth in Europe may not mean much for the rest of us.”
