In the early Twentieth Century, Aspen found itself in search of renewed
identity and purpose. During the
mid-1940s Chicago Industrialist Walter Paepcke and his wife, Elizabeth,
brought their dream to the
mountains: promote world peace after the Second World War. This dream
resurrected Aspen, drawing
artists, visionaries, humanitarians and builders from around the world,
ultimately transforming Aspen into
a dynamic community where art and culture live in concert with sports
and nature.
Today, Obermeyer Asset Management embodies this spirit -- cosmopolitan
and global in thought, yet
deeply committed to the financial and cultural wealth of the clients and
the community we proudly serve.
